2BW series water (liquid) ring vacuum pump closed-circuit circulating system is also called closed-circuit circulating unit. Because of its working principle and structural characteristics, it has been widely used in chemical, pharmaceutical and other industries.
1:
In general, water ring vacuum pumps typically discharge their working fluid directly, as illustrated in Figure 1 below:
Fig. 1 Diagram illustrating the supply and discharge of working fluid in a typical water ring vacuum pump
The water that is discharged by the water ring vacuum pump either enters a large circulating water tank or is directly released. This method of supplying and draining water is easy to connect and simple to use, and is commonly used in practical applications.
However, if the substance being extracted contains organic solvents and toxic materials, the use of the method shown in Figure 1 has the following drawbacks:
When the water ring pump is pumping gas, the gas being pumped becomes mixed with the working fluid, causing the water being discharged from the outlet to contain some organic solvents and toxic substances. Since a large amount of water is discharged, this water discharge can greatly pollute the environment.
Water that contains organic solvents and toxic substances will release harmful gases, further contributing to environmental pollution.
The extracted organic solvent is difficult to recover and ends up being wasted.
